Plainas - Silver Medal - 26th Grand International Wine Award

Wines from around the world demonstrate an excellent level of quality at the 26th Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI; the Spring 2020 Tasting honors the best wines, ending with over 43 Grand Gold, 1,546 Gold and 1,406 Silver medals: 268 wine experts from 54 countries traveled for the six-day tasting to taste and evaluate nearly 7,500 wines from all over the world.

Italy won the most prizes in the competition, with 658 medals. Spain continues with 631 medals, the third place goes to France with 325 medals. Portugal (286 medals) and Germany (239 awards) followed.

Once again, Portugal stood out in the award winning wine categories, in all regions of the country.

On the first day of the fair, MUNDUS The VINI council honors the featured wine producers who were awarded the “Best of Show” in an award instruction.

Our Plainas is the winner of the Silver medal in the category of Green Wines, of the “Spring Tasting 2020”, of the Grand International Wine Award: the aromas are lively, pronounced citrus tones and a small pear make up this bouquet. In the mouth it is traditional for a Vinho Verde, made with Arinto and Azal. Lovely driving acidity, features were awarded by the jury of the International Mundus Vini Contest.
